The chocolate covers the bottom of the biscuit, leaving its golden oat surface visible. No need to choose between your favourites when you can enjoy both in one bite!
WHERE DO OUR BISCUIT IDEAS COME FROM?
At Vanajan, product development is all about listening to our customers, keeping an eye on food trends and finding fresh ways to make familiar favourites even better. Sometimes, a small change to a traditional recipe can make all the difference. Take our oat biscuits, for example: we leave wheat flour out altogether and let oats take centre stage.
With our new Big Chocolate Oat Biscuit, we wanted to bring together the crunch of a traditional oat biscuit and the chocolatey goodness of a chocolate biscuit. And we certainly haven’t been shy with the chocolate – it makes up a full 25% of the biscuit! A layer of milk chocolate covers the bottom, while the oat biscuit remains visible on top. The result is a satisfying combination of crunch and chocolate in every bite.
Oats are the star of the recipe, too. Made with 100% Finnish wholegrain oats, the biscuit brings together oat flakes, flour, bran and groats. It’s baked with a rapeseed-oil-based fat blend and contains no palm oil.
NEW BISCUIT, SAME FINNISH ROOTS
The biscuit may be new, but its home is the same. Just like our other Vanajan favourites, the Big Chocolate Oat Biscuit is baked at our very own biscuit factory in Kantola, Hämeenlinna, Finland.
Our latest addition isn’t here to replace the classic oat biscuit or its fully chocolate-coated cousin. Instead, it offers a delicious third option for those who love the crunch of oats, enjoy a little chocolate and think the two are even better together.
