Vanajan Keksit has been awarded the BRCGS certification – a globally recognised standard that confirms our operations meet international requirements for food safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Certification to the BRCGS standard will replace our current FSSC 22000 (v6) quality management system.
Over 60 years of biscuit-making expertise – now with an even stronger foundation.
What is BRCGS?
BRCGS (Brand Reputation through Compliance Global Standard) is one of the world’s most widely used and respected food safety certifications. It ensures that our bakery operations meet strict standards for hygiene, traceability, risk management, and process development – from raw materials to finished products.
Vanajan’s biscuit factory in Hämeenlinna was audited and received high praise especially for:
- Active involvement of management
- Skilled and committed personnel
- Clean and well-organised production environment
At Vanajan, we bake some of the Nordic’s most popular biscuits, backed by over 60 years of biscuit-making expertise – now with an even stronger foundation. Every batch that goes into the oven meets our high standards for quality and responsibility, now officially certified by BRCGS.
What Does This Mean for our customers?
For our customers, this certification means that Vanajan biscuits are safe, high-quality, and made in compliance with strict international standards. For us, it means an ongoing commitment to improvement, staff training, and responsible production – every single day.
