Vanajan

History

Tehdas - Vanajan Korppu OyVanajan Korppu Oy was established in the former premises of the well-known biscuit factory Kantolan Keksi. We acquired the production line making toasted crisp rolls and the crisp roll business in May 31st, 2000 from the company Delicant Oy (former Kantolan Keksi Oy). The company Vanajan Korppu Oy is owned to 100 % by the operative management. Toasted crips rolls have been produced in Kantola since 1962 and biscuits since 1960. However, the production of biscuits was interrupted in June 1999, as the owner at the time, the Norwegian Orkla Group moved the production to the Göteborg factory in Sweden.

Vanajan Korppu Oy started also the production of waffles and biscuits in Hämeenlinna, Finland in spring 2002.

Our market share is at the moment about one third of the Finnish crisp rolls market.

According to our business idea Vanajan Korppu Oy is a fully Finnish company producing delicious, competitivly priced toasted crisp rolls, waffles and biscuits of high quality.
